I wanna cut my damaged hair short?

I have damaged hair and I'm getting my hair cut today at a hair salon (like in about a few hours xD). my hair is a few centimetres below my shoulders and I was hoping to cut it short like in my yahoo avatar. I'm also gonna ask to lessen my hair because I have a lot of it. after I get it cut will the ends still be damaged or will my hair look puffy?

Well if you get your hair thinned, it will look less puffy/frizzy. And if you cut off the damaged ends then no, it won't be damaged anymore.

Also, shorter hair is usually a lot easier to manage so I reckon you'll love it.

Depends on how far up the damage goes...if you can get this style and the hair is in okay shape at this point, it should be fine. If it's got a few more inches of damage, it'll look funky. But ask when you get there and you should be able to get something you really like!

i think that you should cut it and let it grow back and it will grow back healthy and not be so damaged just take care of it while its growing back and your hair will look good. i cut of 5 inches of mine because my hair was fried and its growing back healthy and nice

your hair type and texture ?

if you tell the stylist to cut the damaged ends and you care for the newer ends they should be fine...just make sure you use good conditioner and be careful if you use rubberbands in your hair..

Your hair will look allot better with the dead ends cut off, I dont know if it will be poofy or not, if it is you can always find products to take care of that. Go for it what do you got to lose, it will always grow back!!
