i'm getting my hair cut today and i think im getting face framed layers. my face is very very very wide would the layers make it look bigger?? also what are whispy tapered hair?

I would go for longer soft layers starting at the jaw, as this will take the eye past the widest part of your face. If you have the layers to short it will only add to the width of your face. hope this helps. loulou
